To whom it may concern,
The purpose of this document is to provide an honest and factual reference for Michael Rudkin. I am an iGaming Consultant, currently contracted to Scout Gaming Group and I have worked with Michael since 2018.
I was strongly recommended Michael’s recruitment services by a former colleague of mine when I joined an ambitious new Africa-facing operator, BetPlanet, in September 2018 as CEO. As the just fourth member of the team to be hired by the business owner, a very significant amount of recruitment followed as the team then grew to over 150 staff within 24 months. At the time, I had a history of working with a number of well-known iGaming recruitment firms to fulfil recruitment needs. However, it very quickly became apparent to me that Michael offered the most reliable and personable service.
Throughout a three-year period with BetPlanet, the business repeatedly made use of Michael’s services, hiring amongst others, staff for business-critical roles such as Chief Marketing Officer, Head of Legal & Compliance and Head of Payments as well as operational roles. When a new hire arrived through Michael, there was never any concern that they would not be ideally suited for the role in which they had been placed.
In my experience, what sets Michael apart from the rest is two-fold:
• The skill, experience and integrity to recommend the right people for the right position at the right organisation. Whereas I have frequently been recommended square pegs for round holes when working with other recruiters, Michael’s attention to detail and respect of the importance to both company and individual of getting it right, underpins an outstanding ability to appropriately select from a very large pool of professionals.
• Professional values – Michael combines his business acumen and excellent communication skills with a work ethic that naturally lends itself to absolute trust. The feeling that a placement has been done, the fee has been paid and that’s the end of the matter has never been present when working with Michael, with a desire shown to follow up with the company and employee, ensuring that both parties are happy with the fit. This quality assurance is further backed with an agreement which gives clients additional comfort and a range of replacement clauses, which I have never needed to exercise.
As a consultant, my reputation is extremely important to me. Taking this into consideration, I am able to recommend Michael in the highest possible terms and it is unquestionable that he would be a first class asset to any organisation he is part of.
To further support all of the above, the first third-party service I recommended to my current employer was Michael’s, resulting in more perfect fits as we hired for more key roles through Michael. I am sure senior management figures at my current company would be happy to comment should it be required.
